The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers prides itself on being a member-driven organization. That means we take our direction for setting goals and priorities from our membership. Our annual member survey is the primary tool we use to collect information on what our members want. This valuable input tells us what issues are important to our members, how we’re doing as an organization, and what we could do better.
Member participation guides our Board of Directors in determining VaHomeschoolers priorities for the coming year, and the years to come. It helps us tailor our seminars and legislative agendas to our members’ needs and interests. It also aids us in improving our services and understanding our members’ opinions on a variety of homeschooling issues.
The annual survey is performed each fall and is sent to all currently active members. Results are summarized in the VaHomeschoolers Voice and more detailed summaries are made available to members.
As always. VaHomeschoolers strives to be Your Resource. Your Voice. Your Organization.
