New and coming to Charlottesville! The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers is sponsoring a series of informal coffee chats around the state, and Charlottesville will host the first of these events. Come pull up a chair, get yourself a favorite beverage, and join us.
Parrish Mort and Jeanne Faulconer of VaHomeschoolers will be on hand to chat with current and prospective homeschoolers about homeschooling all ages – from pre-school through the high school years.
They will field questions about anything from beginning homeschooling to preparing for college or a vocation, both having homeschooled tots to teens. They’ll also welcome questions and discussion on any aspect of homeschooling life–including balancing their commitment to VaHomeschoolers with family-centered education. Come spend an hour or two in a welcoming atmosphere with the companionship of other homeschoolers–we’ll be looking for you!
