Calling All Homeschool Grads!

Is your son or daughter getting ready to make the transition from homeschooling to the wider world of college, an apprenticeship, or full-time employment? Or maybe finishing up a technical program, at a community college or at a 4-year school and transitioning on to something new? VaHomeschoolers Voice, our member magazine, would like to hear about it! We’d like to feature an article about the accomplishments of members as they transition to college and work. We’re planning the article for our summer July-August issue, which means we need those graduation announcements, pronto. Please send us news of your son’s or daughter’s acceptance into college or university, scholarships earned, apprenticeship or employment offers accepted, or other accomplishments by Monday, May 9th, for inclusion in our summer issue. Maybe writing up that quick summary of your homeschooler’s achievements can be part of your family’s Mother’s Day celebration this year. E-mail those announcements and summaries to with a subject line of “Homeschool Graduate”. We’re looking forward to hearing your stories.
