New! Special Saturday Keynote Option

Perhaps you don’t have the time (or the babysitter!) to attend sessions on both inspiring days of the Conference. Perhaps you had only planned to Shop-For-Free. Instead, consider taking advantage of the new Special $12 Admission for the Saturday Keynote Address.

Dr. Bauer’s address, titled “Homeschooling the Second Time” will be an introspective discussion of her experiences as a homeschooled student and a homeschool parent. As she looks back over all those years of home education, she considers which elements were most valuable to her in her adult life, which techniques and programs she has chosen to reproduce with her own children—and even which aspect of her own education were mistakes.

2 Ways to Save!

Register by Sunday, March 9, 2014 to save $10 on one full registration.

You save even more by being a VaHomeschoolers member, so if you’re not already—or you’ve let that membership lapse—join or renew to save on each paid registration. All registrations include admission to the free Friday sessions and the Exhibit Hall and Used Resource Sale.

Don’t Forget to Order a Catered Box Lunch When You Register

The snack bar in the lobby provides those little nibbles to keep you going throughout the day, but full lunches are available onsite only if you pre-order a box lunch by Monday, March 10, 2014. Each box lunch costs $7.50 and contains sandwich of your choice on a soft Kaiser roll with lettuce and tomato, chips, cookie and a water bottle. You can choose turkey and cheddar, ham and swiss, tuna salad, chicken salad or grilled vegetable. Mustard and mayonnaise packets are included. Remember: All volunteers enjoy snacks in the Volunteer Hospitality Room on Friday afternoon and lunch and snacks all day on Saturday. Please consider volunteering!
