VaHomeschoolers congratulates, thanks, and recognizes the following Virginia school divisions as “All-Star Divisions” for their outstanding service to homeschooling families.
Our annual review of school division websites indicates that these school divisions assist families that choose home instruction in the following ways:
- By providing a home instruction policy that is available online and that accurately reflects the requirements of Virginia’s Home Instruction Statute.
- By offering an opportunity for part-time enrollment in public school classes.
- By ensuring the accuracy of other online information and materials related to home instruction, such as the division’s Notice of Intent form (if one is provided online).
On behalf of Virginia’s homeschooling families, VaHomeschoolers has mailed congratulatory letters and awards to these school divisions, recognizing their outstanding service. We hope that these divisions, their school boards, employees and local homeschooling families, will be proud of this achievement.
