Registration Key Leader

Job description: Edit registrations forms from the previous year’s registration booklet. Review, edit or write new copy for subsequent pages supporting the forms. Return registration confirmations (including sessions they have received) to registrants via email and/or postal mail. Contact registrants to resolve problems and conflicts as necessary. Prepare registration packets as registrations are received and as materials become available.

Appropriate for: Homeschooling parent who values VaHomeschoolers’ philosophy, appreciates attention to detail and is well organized and can communicate clearly.

Requisite skills: Organizational skills, people skills. And clear commination skills. Ability to solve problems as they come up. Most of the work is done on the computer

Time commitment requested:

  • Prior to Registration: 10 hours month updating and reviewing previous year’s work
  • After registration opens: Ability to check email often to answer questions and create packets. This varies.
