Come climb with other homeschoolers! We offer a chance to climb indoors within a more private setting, while giving you the opportunity to connect with other homeschooled students in the area. Each homeschool visit includes official TRC Event Belayers that assist throughout your time at the facility to ensure each climber gets the most out of their climb time! These open homeschool visits are scheduled once a month; homeschool groups can also set up a time to come in with their group. No specific home school group affiliation is necessary. This visit includes a harness, a two-hour climbing pass, and is priced at highly discounted rate of $12 per participant.
Parents and siblings are welcome (and encouraged!) to join in on the fun! The minimum age to climb is 4 years old, and anyone 11 and younger must have direct adult supervision while out on the climbing floor. Please note that all participants must complete a facility waiver and minors must have a waiver completed by a parent or court-appointed guardian only. Waivers can be submitted online in advance.
Triangle Rock Club loves to support the Homeschool Community and our visits include the necessary equipment, staff to belay participants, and two hours of action-packed fun. Those interested can use this link to sign up for one of these phenomenal visits. Please make sure participants wear close-toed shoes and active wear that a harness can fit over. Baggy clothing, skirts/dresses, and sandals/flip flops/Chacos are not recommended.
TRC would also love the opportunity to host your homeschool organization for a private event. We offer fantastic Group Visit options which include harnesses, staff belayers, and two hours of climbing in a reserved portion of our walls. We need at least two weeks’ notice to plan one of these awesome events. Let us know if you need an exciting back to school event or something similar and we’d be glad to send you more details! Additional questions? Contact the Program Manager, Kelsey Hoglund.
