Noah Scalin is an American artist who initially captured the public’s attention in 2007 with his Webby Award-winning project, “Skull-a-Day,” in which he created and posted original skull art in various media for 365 days. He is the creator of the collaborative science fiction universe and performance-art project “League of Space Pirates.” His fine art has been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Mütter Museum, and the Krause Gallery in NYC. In 2016, Noah was chosen as the first ever artist-in-residence at the Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business and was named “The region’s most creative individual” by Richmond Magazine in 2017. His work has influenced others to make their own skull art or challenge themselves with an art creation daily for a year.

Noah has authored six books, including Unstuck: 52 Ways to Get (and Keep) Your Creativity Flowing at Home, at Work & in Your Studio; Skull-a-Day; and Creative Sprint: Six 30-Day Challenges to Jumpstart Your Creativity, which he co-authored with his sister Mica Scalin. His work has been featured in dozens of publications, including Fast Company, Hi-Fructose, Juxtapoz, USA Today, The Telegraph, and The New York Times. Noah co-runs Another Limited Rebellion, an art and innovation consulting firm, and is a sought-after public speaker on creativity.
