A Publication Of and For Virginia’s Homeschoolers
Our publication is written, edited, and designed by volunteers who homeschool in Virginia, making VaHomeschoolers Voice a true Voice of Virginia homeschoolers. Our organization is an advocate for homeschoolers in Virginia, providing homeschooling information for families, giving support when challenges arise, and working on our members’ behalf in the legislature, making us a true Voice for Virginia homeschoolers.

VaHomeschoolers Voice regularly covers all aspects of homeschooling: inspirational articles, ideas for approaching different subjects, learning styles, book and curriculum reviews, legal and legislative information and so much more. We have compiled selected articles from past issues to make available online.
Looking for inspiration? In a rut and need some creative ideas to get you re-started? Just getting started and wondering what the heck you have gotten yourself into? Remember reading an article on a topic, but can’t remember the which issue or when? You are in the right place. Grab a cup of coffee and start browsing our ever-growing library of articles.
VaHomeschoolers Voice prints selected articles, news, and letters related to home education and Virginia homeschoolers. Opinions expressed by individual writers do not necessarily reflect the views of the Board of Directors of The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers, nor do they represent an official position of VaHomeschoolers. Writers’ views are their own, and readers are encouraged to research and explore homeschooling issues to their own satisfaction.
